The interview process for the MFT position was structured to evaluate both my technical expertise in Managed File Transfer tools and my ability to troubleshoot, coordinate, and support enterprise-level file transfer environments. During the technical round, the panel assessed my hands-on knowledge of MFT tools such as IBM Sterling File Gateway/SFG, Sterling Integrator/SI, Connect:Direct, and related protocols like SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and AS2. I was asked to explain configurations, partner setups, file routing, troubleshooting steps, monitoring techniques, and incident management scenarios.
