I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Capital One (Bengaluru) in Sep 2024
Interview
3 rounds, one statistics, two case study rounds. From statistics mainly asked regression questions such as homoscedasticity, multicollinearity, outlier detection. Also asked missing value imputation. In the case study round one question was of numerical breakeven.
Didn’t get to the interview stage. Very angry about their buggy screening process. How come they would reject by saying “you don’t satisfy basic qualifications” where basic qualifications only include being a PhD and working with open source programming languages. Not being selected is nonsense for someone who have been coding in Python for last 4 years.
I applied online. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Nov 2019
Interview
four rounds in total, including case study, stats ( a lot of probability questions ), behavior questions, and team match. The interviewers were really nice. The lunch was also not bad.
