I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Capital One in Oct 2016
Interview
First round on campus with 45 minute behavioral interview only
Second round super day at Capital One with one behavioral interview, one job fit interview and one case interview. The super day also included a lunch and a tour of the office.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Case interview on the super day was easy. Behavioral interview was weird. The interviewer was cold and not friendly. They ask pretty generic behavioral questions but they really want you to keep the conversation going and don't give you a lot of nonverbal feedback as you are talking.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Met at University Career Fair and was told to apply online. Received On-Campus behavioral interview a few weeks later. Interview followed STAR method and was straight forward. Got invited to attend power day at headquarters in Richmond. Experience was enjoyable. Capital One put me in a very nice hotel and paid for all travel and food accommodations. Power day started with a tour of the facilities and a catered lunch, followed by 3 interviews(case, behavioral, and job fit). Case was simple optimization case. Job fit was just questions about the culture. The Interviewers, HR department, and recruiters were very all friendly and good people.

Asked how I would advise a bank developing a mobile app and what issues they could expect.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2016
Interview
I first interviewed on my school campus. It was a 30 minute behavioral interview. I heard back 2 weeks later that I had received a final round interview in Richmond. The interview day in Richmond was okay-- I didn't feel all that excited during it. There were a lot of people interviewing and they split us up into groups of 4. They showed us around the "campus" and then led us to our assigned rooms. We went through 3 different interviews, 45-minutes each: job fit, behavioral, and case. The case was very vague and difficult. The interviewers were nice. They tell you that you hear within 2-3 days, but it was 7 days before I heard back. I heard back through a form letter that matched the format of a letter one would receive after your resume wasn't chosen for a first round interview. It was a bit odd, and a bit unprofessional, in my opinion.
