I have been considered for two separate positions in middle office (risk, ALM etc.) and had great initial phone interviews with recruiters only to be dinged after the online testing. While I can't be sure, I suspect that the personality assessment may be what's been holding me back. The numerical and verbal portions weren't difficult (I have a graduate degree and have taken a variety of standardized tests) so I'm fairly confident that I performed well. In fact, I subsequently have been offered a similar position at one of Cap One's competitors.
