      Senior Android Engineer/Manager Interview

      Dec 29, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Capital One (New York, NY)

      Interview

Completed a 2 question coding exercise that took several hours. Passed. So I was invited to an all day on-site interview. 5 different interviews. 3 technical and 2 behavioral. They decided to pass on me. Which is well within their rights to do. However, they provide no feedback as to what area they perceived that I was weak in. I have 20 years experience and I've failed to get other jobs throughout my career. At least those companies had the decency to tell me why they passed on me. I would pass on interviews with this company unless you don't mind wasting a full day Oh yeah. I was given lunch but it was late so I needed to eat it in bites between interviews.

      Question 1

I agreed not to share any questions. Not sure if I'm legally bound to not reveal it, but I gave my word so I'll stick to the agreement
