      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Plano, TX)

      Interview

Applied for the job. Received a technical phone screen about two weeks later. 45 minute long phone screen where they talked about the company, then asked questions about standard deviation, correlation, and logistic regressions. The interviewer loved the company and his job. Phone screen was over a week ago, and haven't heard back yet.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The big question dealt with a regression based on whether or not someone will donate money to a university. Asked how to gather data, what you would do to check it, what kind of regression techniques you would perform, how to do variable selection, and how you would choose which model is the best.
