I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2014
Interview
Had a connection. Was immediately invited to interview at HQ. Really was not well prepared. Case questions are challenging but not too hard. Behavioral questions sometimes intimidating. The people are very robotic and the HQ is literally in the middle of no where. 3 45 minute interviews and 2 case analysis interviews. Along with a quick tour of the campus. Even the guy that toured me around seemed like he really didn't love his job. I was not offered a position.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
Start with one round of case interviews If moved on then you do three final interviews: case, behavioral, and job fit with each being about 35-45 minutes which leaves time for questions

Question 1
How do you handle stressful situations? When have you made a mistake and how did you learn from it?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
Starting off with a case interview without any behavioral or raporé questions was very annoying. Not very much feedback and barely walked through the case. Entirely interviewee led. Overall not a great interview experience.

Question 1
How would you structure a new financial product for small business loans?
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Dec 2017
Interview
My interview was at Capital One's headquarter. Since I did not have a on-campus interview, there are two case interviews (normally one if you done a on-campus interview), behavioral interview and job-fit interview. In my case, all interviews was one-on-one. They drove us to Capital One at 8:00 AM and gave a brief introduction. The interviews started shortly after and lasted until noon. The last thing is the interviewees will have lunch with employees .
