Commercial Banking Development Program- Credit Analyst Interview

      Oct 2, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Sep 2015

      Interview

I applied through my university recruitment website and received an email that I had been selected to interview. The interview consisted of small talk with the HR team and then a formal interview with a professional underwriter. The first part of the interview were questions about my past experience and how it would apply to the program. The other half of the interview was technical questions. I was asked about the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement. I was also asked to name a non cash expense and to define working capital. After this I was given the opportunity add anything about myself that was not covered in the interview that I felt was important. Then I was given the chance to ask questions.
