I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Cash App (Portland, OR) in Jan 2022
Interview
This was the most disappointing and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had. I was contacted to do and interview and schedule through Calendly. On the morning of the interview the recruiter never called ( who’s name I respectfully won’t mention) I emailed her and she said that her calendly was mistaken and put it for another day so she asked me give her times I was available for later that day. I responded and reached out twice in regards to an update and still nothing. It’s sad that the company would play around like this. I was excited to potentially be apart of this team but it’s unfortunate that won’t happen do to their lack of communication.

Other Customer Success Advocate Interview Reviews for Cash App
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cash App (Oakland, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
Started with recruiter screen that focused mainly on background and also asked ‘why Cash App?’ Followed by multiple rounds focused on problem solving, learning on the fly, and handling ambiguity. Questions were scenario-based and centered on how you think rather than technical knowledge. Interviewers encouraged asking clarifying questions and walking through your thought process. Overall, the experience was professional, supportive, and communicative.

Question 1
What would you do if a customer called and said $100 was missing from their account?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cash App in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview process seemed daunting at first (phone screen and mock call followed by a 2 hr interview broken into four 30minute interviews), but it was really straightforward and laid back! The recruiter walked me through the entire process beforehand and sent me an interview guide to help me prepare. All of my interviewers were incredibly kind and put my mind at ease.
Super excited to start with this company!
