I put in my application and about a week later I received an email from the recruiter for a phone screening request. She was super nice and set the bar high on joining the team! I didn’t answer a bunch of questions but I listened to her and answered basic questions about my background. At the end she asked if I was still interested and if I’d like to continue the process. I said yes and she sent me a questionnaire to complete. She explained that I needed to answer the questions but don’t feel compelled to write 10 pages. There was a deadline and I submitted the night before. The recruiter communicated the next day that she would forward it on and let me know if any feedback. I heard back that the hiring manager wanted to interview me. The next week I interviewed. I met with who would be my direct supervisor and her supervisor. It felt like a conversation even though I was nervous. They were very attentive and didn’t hesitate to ask follow up questions based off my answers. During the interview, I met with a person who would be my coworker and she asked me a few get to know me questions and I asked her as well. One week later I was notified that an offer would be written and the following week I received the offer.
