I interviewed with the international division in November 2022, and I must express my disappointment with the recruitment process. Having accumulated over 15 years of professional experience, I can confidently say that I have never encountered a recruitment team of such subpar quality. The communication throughout the process was severely lacking and often incomplete. It appeared that there were no established standards in place for this hiring process. Additionally, I faced challenges in understanding the hiring manager due to their inadequate level of English proficiency. The absence of a comprehensive job description and a clear overview of the department further added to the confusion. Moreover, the next steps in the process were not adequately explained, leaving me uncertain about what to expect. Perhaps the most disheartening aspect was the complete lack of follow-up from the hiring team after the two interview rounds. This not only wasted my time but also left me with a sense of disconnect. It is truly perplexing to imagine that an esteemed organization like Cedars Sinai would have such shortcomings within its Arabic international division. By settling for a recruitment team that operates well below acceptable standards, the organization risks overlooking genuine talent. It is my hope that these issues are addressed promptly so that the potential contributions of qualified individuals are not squandered due to the inadequacies of the current staff.
