I had a phone screen with HR on 12/26/24. This was your typical tell me about your experience. Then on 1/9/25 I had a panel interview. The first 30 minutes was with the Controller and Assistant Controller. The last was 30 was with a team member. I got the behavioral style questions. The one on one was basically the same,I wasnt quite sure of the split interviews

Interview
Phone screen with talent management went well for an Accountant II position. They were very transparent about the salary expectations, which is where we disagreed. Exited the interview on good terms though. Very friendly demeanor.

Interview
Applied on their website and received and email a few days later for a phone screen interview. Didn't make pass the screening. First of all, HR sounded like they were reading off a script when describing the company. Secondly, they went straight forward to the salary and said I was asking too much and if I was willing to meet their range. For being an Accountant II position and a huge corporation, they shouldn't be paying under 75k for the role but it sounded like they were. Then they had the audacity to say if i'm willing to work overtime during month end. I don't know who is willing to get underpaid and overworked but apparently there is people out there surprisingly.
