Centric Software Full Stack Software Engineer interview questions

Was sent an 8 hour take home assignment without even talking to anyone at company. I asked to talk to someone before asking for me to work on something, and they obliged. Screen was odd - the guy complained most of his engineers were lazy and had a lot to say about them personally. After screen, I completed the assignment, it was a '4-8 hour' expectation to create a backend api with database and testing. I completed the assignment and even used their preferred libraries. Was fully tested and working, and pretty clean if I say so myself. Company completely ghosted me after submission. I followed up and was told later that the code was 'not a standard required for the role' without any feedback what-so-ever. Bad interview experience and rude treatment. Do not waste your time.
