I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Charles Schwab (Irvine, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
Interview was very nice and friendly. I had spoken with two people at once, one of the leading financial advisors as well as hiring managers. It was a very easy-going and friendly interview. A good amount of behavioral questions as well as walking through my resume. I already received an offer from another company and had been very relaxed for this. Overall, being personable and friendly set a great mood for the entire interview.

Question 1
Name a difficult time that you have had and how did you overcome it?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Charles Schwab (Phoenix, AZ)
Interview
I got a phone interview and in the phone interview the recruiter asked some behavioral questions that were customer service focused. Some of the questions were about going above and beyond when you provided good service to clients and she wanted to get an idea about why I was interested in the role. Because I was with Schwab for almost 8 years, and I left in 2022 she didn't ask me anything about Why I wanted to work for Schwab or what I knew about Schwab, but I definitely remember being asked about that in my initial interview back in 2015.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you went above your job duties to get something done?
I applied online. I interviewed at Charles Schwab (Peoria, AZ) in Feb 2025
Interview
The initial phone interview asked questions about going above and beyond the job, when a product was offered to a client, something about the job posting that stood out to me, and why I wanted the role.

Question 1
Name a time when you offered a product or a service to a client
Submitted my application online and then received a 45 min screening interview over the phone. I then moved on to two more video interviews. One with the hiring manager and one with the branch manager. Both were under an hour and fairly typical in traditional interview questions, but also conversational with little to no technical questions.
