A very new human resource person (literally only been working there a couple weeks)right off the bat began by asking me if I was comfortable with Cashiering, Accounts Receivable, not asking me much about my background or how long I lived in Colorado Springs which was a little unusual, getting to the questions right away.

Interview

I filled out an online application and was emailed several days later for an interview. I set up the interview for the next day. It was definitely what you would call a "culture interview." They asked for references during the interview. I heard from my references over the next couple days that they had been contacted. I then had a second interview with the director of HR. I was asked to do a background check and was offered the job by phone the next day.

Interview

Interview wasn't more than 20 minutes. Manager was nice. She seemed like she would work around my schedule and genuinely cared about me. I believe this was more a culture interview. She talked about teamwork, hospitality and that part of my job would be cleaning the aquatics center and interacting with guests/members. She offered me the job on the spot pending a reference check. HR was a little difficult to get ahold of during the hiring process but that had nothing to do with the interview.
