      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chubb (Jersey City, NJ) in Oct 2023

      Interview

Only had the first round interview as I would require future sponsorship, which made me eligible. First round interview was a very basic, friendly, and simple behavioural interview. As long as you've done your research and are prepared to speak about yourself and your experiences, you're good to go.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chubb (Philadelphia, PA)

      Interview

They first lost all the interview slot times that they asked for from the interviewees. I had to reach out to a recruiter and double check. I then moved on to the behavioral round and was told I am moving to the technical. The next day I got a rejection. When I asked my recruiter she said she'll check up on it and then when I followed up, she ghosted me.

      Technology Associate Program Interview

      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Chubb in Oct 2024

      Interview

I met a recruiter at the Grace Hopper Conference and was excited to begin the process with Chubb. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. The process began with an HR screening call, which seemed standard. However, we were required to submit our availability via a Google form. A few days later, I received an email stating that the submitted times had been lost, and we were asked to fill out the form again. This was the first hiccup in the process. My initial HR interview, scheduled for a Monday, went smoothly and was the only step that went as planned. I was then advanced to the final round of interviews, which I scheduled for Friday. However, the interviewer didn’t show up. I waited through the entire allotted time and reached out to both the interviewer and my recruiter but received no response. This was the second major hiccup. The final round was rescheduled for the following Monday, but unfortunately, the interview was a disappointing experience. Instead of focusing on technical or role-specific questions, the interviewer asked questions that felt irrelevant and demoralizing. I’ve participated in numerous interviews for both internships and new graduate roles, and this was by far the worst due to the interviewer’s unprofessional and rude behavior. I was told I would receive a decision the next day—an optimistic timeline that, unsurprisingly, wasn’t met. After a few days without any updates, I reached out to my recruiter, who informed me I would hear back by the end of the month. When that deadline passed, I followed up multiple times via email but received no response. Eventually, I received an offer from another company and informed Chubb about my timeline. To my surprise, I was rejected almost immediately after sending that email. Throughout the process, I remained patient and professional despite the repeated missteps, delays, and lack of communication. Unfortunately, this experience left me with a clear impression of how Chubb operates and what it might feel like to work there. It’s disheartening to see such inefficiency and unprofessionalism from a company I was initially excited about.
