I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Citi in Apr 2022
Interview
My interview process was a little different. I was in the Citi technology early ID Leadership program. The way that worked was that it was about a six-week program and we would go through these educational weekly zoom meetings and they would teach us about certain technology that Citi Bank would use. Throughout this program, we were assigned a mentor and they were essentially just helping us with the interview process alongside with the weekly educational zoom meetings we would have weekly meetings with our mentors and we would go through loads of behavioral questions. At the end of the program, the program leaders will send out the application link and you could just apply regularly or your mentor had the option to just push you through the process and make you do a super day(one day of 3-6 behavioral interviews). The other option was that your mentor suggested to the program leaders that you just go through one final round of a technical interview. My mentor suggested the second option so I just had one technical interview with one interviewer. The interviewer was very chill and he wasn't really worried about you getting the right answer he really just wanted to hear you put your thoughts into words and articulate yourself in a proper manner. After the interview say called me exactly 2 weeks later and let me know that I got the offer.

Question 1
My interviewer didn't really care if you got the right answer. He really just wanted me to articulate my thoughts in a proper manner. Although it would help if you got the right result make sure that you are walking them through your thought process before you start coding and then again after you're done coding tell them what you just did. They want to see if you can work with others well. So sometimes they might even code alongside you. At least that's what happened to me.
In the end, I did not get the right result because of syntax but I was in the right direction. But because I had the proper thought process and I told my interviewer what was going on in my head they still gave me the offer!!!
