Looking for opinion on whether one should represent a short stint on a resume. I’d spent 32 years at a large bank before being laid off in early 2018. Got back into the market in late 2018, then moved again eight months later to Citi. This week I fell victim to the ‘Transformation’ despite being highly regarded. Question I am mulling over is should I include that eight month stint or not? Thinking I should just leave it off, but wondering if some background check may raise questions?

If there are any C2C contracting positions open that you may be aware of, appreciate the insight. Have worked with a Big4 firm in financial regulatory space dealing with consent order and now at Citi doing the same. But not satisfied with moving to industry and looking for a move

Those layoffs are happening. It just happened to me. They told me today was my last. I get 8 weeks severance. I get all my vacation I haven't taken. For me this is a blessing in disguise. I disliked my supervisor and team. Also hated the job. So long Citi.
