I'm 24 and starting a VP role at Citi today. I've always been interested in consulting, and had a few final rounds at MBB, but I've accepted offers at banks and now I'm making 130k and relocating to NYC. I want to be in the sustainability space long-term, so would you recommend that I pivot to consulting after this role and lateral to the field that interests me, or go to grad-school/MBA and pivot to the field I want. In other words, is consulting still worth it for me as an early career move?

I applied online. I interviewed at Citi (United States)

A quick screening email and one 1 hour panel interview. Interviewers were absolutely great and professional. Both a behavioral and technical interview in one. However thats where all the praises end. If I used the word incompetent this would be a complete understatement. A complete lack of communication on Citi's part and 6 months on business review is unacceptable. A waste of time and effort so don't bother applying.
