The process is completed at the individual school level after filling out a lengthy application online. You must input all of the information that is typically included in a resume as well as supply at least 3 confidential references before you are eligible to be interviewed by site based administrators. The interview took place face to face, at the school that was offering the position. Human resource approves the final hire.

Interview
Phone interview with principal. It was a one on one interview that lasted about forty five minutes. She asked about my experience with behavioral students that had experienced trauma. I applied on line and then had to apply at different schools. There were and are hundreds of openings. It was suggested that I contact principals but I did not. I applied at three schools and was contacted by two, two weeks after I applied. I applied for Nevada Teachers license at the same time.
