I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cochlear
Interview
Really transparent interview process, and they communicated each step to me, and average wait times. After applying I made it to the screening call, and didn’t progress from there.
The next stages are usually the in person interview, then some sort of physiological/aptitude testing.
Poor follow up, I didn’t hear anything after the interview . It isnt a company I would feel valued as they don’t treat their interview candidates well. I would not recommend their HR to anyone
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cochlear (Sydney) in Jun 2015
Interview
Contacted by recruiter, had two phone screening calls with recruiter, then a F2F at their offices with direct manager and HR rep. HR rep asked some situational questions, and manager asked specific technology questions, but not much feedback given. Didn't hear anything back from them for 2 weeks, then recruiter advised they were still waiting for feedback and no contact followed. Sounded like a good team, and great headquarters, but interview process was cold, impersonal and felt disconnected.
