Interview
The company called me after I'd said I was interested in one of my college classes. They originally called me to gauge my interest, and later asked me for a time that would be best for an interview. On my first call, I asked if it would be a problem that I didn't have a car, and they told me there wouldn't be as long as I could get around. Unfortunately, the first question in my interview was whether or not I had a car, and I was immediately dismissed once I said I didn't. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed. Shows a lack of communication on the company's part.
Other Intern Interview Reviews for College Works Painting
Accommodating to students, however interviewer turned unprofessional and hostile regarding means of transport that would be supplied personally to the position, which is when the interview process ended. Other than that, questions were relatively basic.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at College Works Painting (East Lansing, MI) in Feb 2020
Interview
Very shady and suspicious. The interviewer purposely will hide as much information from you as possible. They lack transparency and try to mislead you as much as possible. The interview process felt like a waste of time and I am thankful that I did not accept the offer. They would not take no for an answer and tried to get me to accept and I had to block their number for them to leave me alone.

Three interviews: one phone, one skype, one in person. The phone interview was just a screening, the skype was an info meeting, and the in person was a real interview.
