I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Comcast (Philadelphia, PA) in Mar 2016
Interview
Telephonic round will briefly touch over many technical concepts. In-person round was fully technical and in-depth. They expect you to come in a suite. They will give you an architectural problem and will ask you to solve it on a white board.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All the technology questions that they want to learn about.
Overall, interview is just a way they try to learn/steal from others for free.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Comcast (Chennai) in Aug 2024
Interview
walk in interview, having only limited places but calling many people. If we did good also they are not ready to take. need to be the best to get selected because they are having very limited vacancies.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Comcast (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2010
Interview
Overall a smooth hiring process. Initial contact was with an internal recruiter. Had to fill out a somewhat cumbersome SAP job application, blame thePlatform's parent company Comcast for this, prior to the actual interview process.
Interviewed with 2 individuals in management and a pair of engineers. Relaxed and organized interview process though I wasn't sure how well I was doing at the time. Evidently well enough since I received an offer
The engineering group I'm a part of is a well-managed group of senior-level engineers and QA. Other teams seem to be similar.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Open-ended question about a parking lot. It was purposefully vague to see which direction the interviewee took the problem.
