I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Comcast (Fishers, IN) in Mar 2011
Interview
Starts out with a phone interview and then you go into the office for a face to face with a supervisor. They basically explain what you could do and really talk up the company and benefits. Dont explain that even though people will call you when their products are broken that you still have to try and sell them an upgrade on their services... Took forever though from my interview in person/on-the phone to actually be hired. I think around 3 months. No one really knows whats going on in the call center.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Comcast in Jan 2015
Interview
I seen an ad on craigslist. I was not really looking for work at the time due to no one calling me and it seemed like there was not much for job openings. I just followed the link with a work at home position. So I thought what is it going to hurt? Made my own appointment two weeks off hand for someone to call He role play and I was not ready to act like a representative to help customers on the phone. so the way I sounded from which he was acting like he didn't know what equipment was the modem. After telling him how much experience I have with Network technology, how I repair PC's, next interview got me hired.
