I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Con Edison (New York, NY)
Interview
The first step is a phone interview with HR, and it lasts about an hour. The questions are very basic - what do you know about the company, what interests you in the program, what type of leadership roles and internships have you had in the past. The next round is held in their headquarters in the city. You meet with recruiter who gives you two short essays to write asking about leadership experiences and qualities. Then you go through an interview with two senior Con Edison employees who went through the program. The questions are more detailed about leadership experience, general industry and company knowledge, and a few situational questions about situations you might face on the job. I heard back with a final decision about a month later.

Interview
Skipped over the phone interview. They just called me to invite me to come in person. Interview was pretty straight forward, asked questions from a packet they had to fill out. It was two separate interviews asking my questions at the same time. They told me they'd reach out within 2-3 weeks to let me know if I got to the second round or not. It has been over 2 months and haven't heard anything. I even emailed the lady from HR who set up my interview and got no response. If you are going to promise feedback to candidates you should follow through. I am assuming I didn't get it, but very unprofessional.

apparently they have no clue how to see a good candidate. They give preference to an outsider over a coop. They hire ppl that do not deserve and they do not hire ppl that deserve. Really clueless
