      Technical Chat Support Interview

      Oct 10, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Ugong Norte
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Concentrix (Ugong Norte) in Oct 2018

      Interview

I applied thru employee referral. It was a two days process for me since I came quite late at 3PM. I arrived in their Recruitment Office in Bridgetown, Cubao; it’s along C5 on the way to Libis from Rosario, Pasig, and after I got my badge from the guard, I told the counter personnel that I was a new applicant. They gave me a small paper, probably ¼ sheet of the whole bond paper, to write my name, address, contact infos and my referral person. After submitting that small paper, I waited for almost an hour. It was fine, since there were really lots of other applicants who came before me. The first stage was the online profiling which took me max of 10 minutes. Maybe since I have previous experience as TSR I was immediately called for Initial Interview with the HR. It’s not even an interview since all she asked was the position I was applying for, then about my salary requirement, a bit about my previous experience and that’s all. After that I waited for the next stage, SVAR using an AVAYA phone, which still had 6 parts mainly for reading, speaking, comprehension, grammar X2 and spontaneous speech. This time it was quicker and I got my result immediately, passed. I was instructed to go to a particular floor for the technical exams and typing test. I answered 6 courses since I was applying for a chat techsupport. There were 2 courses about Product Handling that will rate you how to get info from the internet, another about English Grammar, Basic Troubleshooting knowledge, Call Center Situational Test, and of course the typing test. You’re allowed to take them all in 2 hours. I finished before 8PM and had to return the following day for the final ops interview. The following day, I was instructed to arrive at 2PM but the interview started at 3:30PM. It was all basic info about myself and then a bit more that’s not in the resume. After that, we had a quick tech support situational role play. It was very average and the OpsManager was very accommodating, always smiling. After this stage, I returned to the recruitment office for the 10 minutes video-orientation about the requirements and was advised to submit them two days after including the medical slip. After all these, I e-signed my contract. By the fourth day, I started my new training and new job.
