It was really cool how the head recruiter of the Conoco team for Penn State simply signed me up for an interview right on the spot after looking at my resume. It caught me off guard because it was the only company that was that easy to work with - and it's such a huge company too! If that weren't enough, they invited all the interviewees out to dinner in town to casually chat with the recruiting team! It was a great experience - I still don't know if I got the internship yet or not. But the head recruiter informed us that he submitted all the paperwork to Corporate Recruiting and that we should be hearing soon but still no word. He hasn't replied to my emails so I'm going to try calling him. He actually let us know that the team will be back this weekend for a tailgate at the football game and invited us to join!
