I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ConocoPhillips
Interview
I applied through the university and was notified after 2 weeks of an interview. Philips 66 hosted an info session for everyone and brought us out to dinner on the night before the interview. During the interview, I was given basic behavior questions along with a case interview. Recruiters are all really helpful and they try to make you as comfortable as possible.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ConocoPhillips (Houston, TX)
Interview
Behavior-based ("tell me about a time when...") interview questions are used. Prepare answers by reviewing the job description for specific behaviors required (i.e. collaboration, decision-making, conflict resolution, etc.) and prepare specific examples and outcomes to share.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Q: Tell me about a time when you had a conflict with a co-worker. What did you do to try to resolve it?
Q: Tell me about a time when you had to rely on the contributions of others to accomplish your work or project. How did you work together to reach your goals?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ConocoPhillips
Interview
Interview process was very professional. Three different people sat down with me at separate times and talked to me about the position. They were friendly and acted like they were happy to have me there, unlike other companies who act like interviews are a burden.

Question 1
If you had a situation with a co-worker and nothing seemed to be getting resolved, how would you handle it?
