I was brought in by a contracting firm and met with 5 different people for 30 minutes each. Each one represented a different aspect of IT and culminated with HR. It wasn't terribly difficult, but would have been more effective and efficient to have one meeting with them for an hour to an hour and a half rather than two and a half hours of individual meetings. It would be less draining on the candidate and less repetition of questions from those interviewing.
