I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cornerstone OnDemand (Chicago, IL) in May 2022
Interview
Quick response to my initial application. Recruiter canceled my interview just a few minutes before it was to start, then ghosted me. I applied again for the same position, a different recruiter reached out and I had initial call with her. There were FIVE positions she said I would be a great fit for given my 15 years of experience with CSOD. I completed a video interview, heard back the following week and an interview was scheduled. I was interviewed by 2 people who both seemed very interested. They assured me I would be hearing back for the next steps.
The following week came and went, I reached out close to the end of the day on the Friday and asked for an update. I received a thanks but no thanks email from the recruiter who had ghosted me before. I was advised to apply again for other roles. The problem is I was interviewed by the head of that department and if she was not interested in me, why would I continue to apply.
A week or so later, the position I was told was filled, popped up again, along with 3 of the other positions I was told I would be perfect for. I applied, and have been rejected without even speaking with anyone.
This was my dream job and my dream company- and I have more experience with the system than the person who interviewed me.
Very disappointing.
Their loss.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Situational "tell us about a time when..." and they asked why I wanted to work for the company.

Interview
1 - The call was scheduled one hour ahead of previously agreed time, why? I do understand it's not that straight forward to calculate the differences, but again tons of time zone sites out there to help;
2 - JD states Language A is required, whereas on my CV it's clearly stated that I speak Language B. Both languages are from nearby region. Not sure how my CV got passed, even AI screening won't make this mistake.
Before doing into any intro or questions, I asked to clarify the language requirement, than there was no need to continue the call.
TA team please calculate time zone difference accurately and a simple 5-second google search would address the concern on which language the candidate speaks vs what the role requires.
I understand we all make mistakes including myself, we are all humans. But timing and also basic language requirement? Come on, Cornerstone you are better than this.

Interview
Four interviews starting with HR and then to the various members of the CSM teams. Took less than three weeks to complete the interview/offer letter process. Interviewers were relaxed and easy to talk to.
There were four rounds of interviews, first -recruiter, second -manager, third - presenting a case to a panel with team members, and fourth - executive. The process lasted about 6 weeks.
