I had a great phone conversation with an HR a manger regarding the position and my qualifications. The salary question was addressed and we discussed next steps in the hiring process. A few days later I had a second phone interview with the team lead and things went well. Our conversation ended with an explanation of the next steps, a personality assessment test. I was sent a link from the HR manager and completed the test within a few days. Then things went silent. The interview process was moving at a quick pace compared to other companies I had interviewed with prior to the assessment test. I reached out for an update and was given the standard, “We’re still wrapping up interviews and will know more next week.” The final email I received stated that they decided to pursue other candidates, yet several weeks later the position is still posted on their company website. I asked for feedback on my application, but did not receive a response. In the end, it felt as if they were not serious about hiring for this position.
