Interview
The hiring process was a disaster! I completed the online test and did a medium-sized coding assignment. Those automated steps were ok, but when the time came to talk to actual Crossover emplyees, things got weird.
First, they didn't let me know that I was supposed to have my development environment ready for the Skype interview, so I had to reschedule it (it took another week).
Then I was told I successfully passed all their tests an was ready to be hired by Crossover clients. And then there was silence... For 2 months! When I contacted support, they said they were overstaffed with developers and there was simply no work.
Then at last I got (another) interview invitation, but I couldn't make it the suggested time and tried to reschedule it using their website. I couldn't do it! This function simply didn't work! I contacted support again, but they said they couldn't reproduce my problem and simply closed the case. Meanwhile, the interview time has passed and the system told me that I had to wait for another invitation from another hiring manager.
Wait another 2 months for an interview I can't reschedule and that doesn't guarantee that I get the job in the end? No, thanks!

Question 1
Write a function to check if 2 words are isomorphic (the letters in one word can be remapped to get the second word)
Randomly got booted out of the process without any feedback after scoring extremely well on one of their absurd amounts of assessments. This was not a good use of my time or a good experience at all.

They lure you with a promise of big money, but in the end, they just use your data to sell to their customers.
You have to spend a few days doing the challenges even before you can be considered for an interview ( which they'll still decline ).

Question 1
To complete aptitude test and then a 3h coding challenge which in reality was more than 8h.
Initially it started with a assessment rounds. One was with GenAI and other was real world assessment. And then followed by one technical interview and one behavioural interview. The interview was moderate and basically asks about yourself.
