I applied online. I interviewed at Cummins (Darlington, North East England, England) in Aug 2016
Interview
Was invited for an interview in Darlington. Interview consisted of a presentation by me about myself which needed to be prepared before hand. Then a few questions based on my CV. Interview was conducted by the manufacturing and quality managers. The entire process lasted about an hour. Was a pretty good experience over all.

An in-person interview, which had pretty standard questions, gives you a case study to prepare for. I'd recommend spending some time learning about it and also refreshing on first principle concepts especially mechanical and fluids related.
