I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Cummins (Columbus, IN)
Interview
I was "interviewed" through a co-op. The co-op was obtained through school recruiting networking. Co-ops are in some ways placed at lower priority than interns when it comes to what they are able to "interview" for. Networking is huge since there is wide variation in rules and attitudes about hiring and interviewing especially given how fiscally conservative the company is.

Question 1
They really look for if you're interested in staying the technical path, and if you want to stay with the company in general.
It was a one hour interview. The hiring manager was asking very straightforward questions and was also very supportive. I was able to ask a lot of questions from the hiring manager.
