      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods in Nov 2014

      Interview

Started with campus recruiting- DSG has an amazing recruiting team. I did not meet GPA requirements but since I made an impression with the recruiter he waived it so I could get an interview. On campus interviews were back to back, with alumni of the program (and my school). They have a packet of required behavioral questions, so be prepared with a lot of STAR examples. (I reused some good examples in all of my interviews- not a big deal). Then I got invited to onsite interview at HQ in Pittsburgh, PA. Day 1: They gave us a tour of a large (maybe flagship?) store with former MTPs, then took us to a really nice Italian restaurant for dinner and you sit with the same MTP grad who was giving you a tour. Then your bus groups take a tour of the city, which is showing you basically the sports arenas, a little history of Pittsburgh, and where all the best bars and restaurants are in all the different neighborhoods. Day 2: Breakfast at HQ, 2 more back to back behavioral interviews, with more senior members of the team. Everyone seemed to have one person who was very laid back (like the first round) and one person who asked some tougher follow up questions- nothing crazy just fact checking your examples. Then they pair you up with a recent grad for a tour, lunch in the cafeteria, and to learn a little more about what you'd be doing on a daily basis. Very cool experience, their HQ is amazing and the company culture was so fun, young and more collaborative than competitive. Heard back within a full week.

      Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods

      Interview

The interview process took place on my college campus. The interview took place about a month after they came for the career fair. It was two separate interviews that were thirty minutes each. The first male interviewer was from HR and the second was a merchandiser. Look up Dicks in the news recently for good questions to ask

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at DICK'S Sporting Goods (Pittsburgh, PA) in Feb 2015

      Interview

I applied online and received an email from a recruiter within a week or two. A week later I skyped with a recruiters. Following the Skype interview, I was invited to Skype with two other DSG employees in the merchandising department. I was then invited to the corporate headquarters in Pittsburg, PA with other candidates. The first day we had a presentation on the program, were given a great tour of Pittsburgh, and then taken to a nice Italian dinner. The following day we each had two interviews, lunch, and a campus tour. Everyone was extremely inviting, and the recruiters were great and really organized.

Applied through campus/university recruiting; interviewed on campus for the first round. It was two 45 minute back to back behavioral questions interview. Nothing out of the ordinary. First guy was very disinterested in the whole process, while the second woman seemed to enjoy being there. Did not get a second Interview though they warned everyone they had been interviewing hundreds of students And had roughly 30 spots for the second round interview
