first HR interview: 20min interview asking about why DLA, previous experience, competency questions, hobbies etc - relatively straightforward then assessment centre: lasted around 4-5 hours, done virtually with 3 parts - (1) group discussion - about how the firm can improve its services (2) partner interview (30 min) - CV + behavioural questions (3) individual presentation - you will receive a case file with an hour of preparation time, this section has much focus on commercial awareness

(partner interview) would you prefer to sacrifice the quality of your work to meet a deadline or push back on the deadline to produce better-quality work?
it was the whole day, lasting from 9am to 3pm. We were assessed through three types of interviews - a 30 minute partner interview, 40 minute case study presentation, 30 minute group discussion.

Group exercise (3/4 candidates), individual presentation (15 minutes) to a partner with follow up questions and a motivational/ strength based interview (1 hour) to another partner with prompting questions to expand on your answers.
Quite interactive - 1 partner asked competency questions; another round of group interview testing commercial awareness; another round of individual presentation on a commercial case study
Overall people r quite supportive - not harsh on interviewees
