Interview
Pretty standard virtual interview. There were some questions first to get a feel for my working style and personality. I seemed to hit it off well with one of the interviewers and both seemed pleased with my answers.
The second half was technical questions. They seemed fairly simple but were communicated poorly. I had to ask for clarification a few times, which isn't something I usually need to do. I'm guessing this is what hurt me because they didn't seem pleased that I wasn't understanding the question, so much to the point that the other interviewer stopped the guy repeating the question and said there was clearly a miscommunicatoin happening. The key point of the question had too much filler so the focal point became lost in the question itself.
If this is what hurt my chances then so be it. I feel clarity is important so you an receive an applicable response. I've conducted interviews and know this is important.
Overall, the company seems great. I was hoping for good news but was passed on in the end.
