I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at David Weekley Homes in Oct 2019
Interview
I sent in my resume and was contacted the next day to come in to interview for new home sales consultant position. I took the wonderlic test as soon as I came in for the interview. If you do not score high enough, the interview process will cease at that point. My score met the requirements and I met with the project coordinator immediately after the test. The interview was very informal and lasted about an hour. Mainly discussion about my background and getting to know me. Then I took the Berke's assessment at home and came in to go over my results versus top performers results. The project coordinator told me there are no right or wrong answers but had me explain a few areas where my assessment had me outside of the typical range. The next meeting was a key influencer lunch with my spouse and the project coordinator. The meeting was informal and primarily designed to see if there are any concerns. Finally, I met with the division president. The division president asked a few "interview questions" but really just wanted to get to know me. I received an offer the next day. The entire process lasted about 2 months but was during the holiday season. Everyone I met was very nice. The interview feels very casual and warm. David Weekley hires people who have the "right" personality fit versus the "right" resume.
