I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (South Bend, IN) in Sep 2018
Interview
Overall, the interview process was enjoyable. I received an invitation for an on-campus first round interview in mid September preceded by a reception the night before. The first round was with a hiring manager (behavioral) & an associate (case). Both were typical- case was a SDLC, but I received a second round without using a framework. Second round was also on-campus the next day with two partners. Very laid back; my general advice would be to be yourself! They gauge questions based on the skills they anticipate you having and will not ask you technical questions if you lack technical background. If they give you advice in the case the first day, take it for the second round. I received an offer two weeks later.

Question 1
Can you tell me about a time that you took a hard stance on something?
There was a more so personal approach to the questions being asked. You need to be able to cater your answers to the person talking to you would be. It’s more so about how you talk and present the information.
My interview experience with Deloitte for a consulting role was structured and comprehensive. It began with an HR screening call discussing my resume and motivations. This was followed by a technical round featuring a challenging case study, which tested my analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities under pressure. I had to break down the problem, propose solutions, and justify my reasoning.
The final round was with a senior manager, focusing on behavioral questions using the STAR method and my cultural fit. The atmosphere was professional yet conversational. Preparation, clear communication, and a structured approach to case studies were key to my success.
