Interview
The selection process consisted of just two steps: a)Online Assessment Test b)Personal Interview combined with a Human Resources round. After clearing these stages, the list of selected candidates was announced.

Question 1
The assessment test consisted of five sections: i) Quants ii) Logical Reasoning iii) Verbal iv) CS Fundamentals(Oops, DBMS, Computer Networks, SQL, Pseudocodes) v) Two coding questions After clearing the online assessment, I proceeded to the Personal Interview (PI) and Human Resources (HR) round, which were combined. During this interview, the interviewer asked me to describe my projects and posed several situation-based questions, such as: i) How would you implement your data analytics skills to address a real-time problem you've observed in your college? ii) Suppose a client provides you with a complete dataset of their stock investments, organized by date, and requests that you create a graph chart in Python. The chart should provide a detailed view of the trend, and when the client hovers over the graph with their mouse, it should display the stock rate on that specific date. The interviewer also asked me a few more situational questions before delving into general HR round questions like strengths, weaknesses, why should we hire you etc
There was a more so personal approach to the questions being asked. You need to be able to cater your answers to the person talking to you would be. It’s more so about how you talk and present the information.
My interview experience with Deloitte for a consulting role was structured and comprehensive. It began with an HR screening call discussing my resume and motivations. This was followed by a technical round featuring a challenging case study, which tested my analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities under pressure. I had to break down the problem, propose solutions, and justify my reasoning.
The final round was with a senior manager, focusing on behavioral questions using the STAR method and my cultural fit. The atmosphere was professional yet conversational. Preparation, clear communication, and a structured approach to case studies were key to my success.
