I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Lake Mary, FL) in Apr 2019
Interview
Deloitte's interview process typically spans several stages, starting with an initial screening—either a phone interview or a virtual discussion about your background and interests. Following this, candidates usually encounter behavioral interviews, where they're asked about experiences, strengths, weaknesses, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. For consulting roles, case interviews are common, assessing how applicants approach and solve business problems. Technical interviews might also be included for specific positions, evaluating expertise in a particular field. Lastly, final rounds often involve meetings with higher-level managers or partners to gauge cultural fit and alignment with the company's values. Throughout these stages, preparation, research, and a demonstration of relevant skills are pivotal for success.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you handle a situation where there is a mismatch in opinions?
It was pretty doable despite the pressure, technical covers a case, behavioral covers who you are. In the case they expect you to show your thought processes and how you would tackle the problem at hand.
The hiring process begins with a behavioral interview to assess communication and cultural fit, followed by a discussion with the hiring manager, and concludes with a comprehensive final technical interview.

Question 1
How would you define success and a moment when you had to confront someone?
I applied online. I interviewed at Deloitte (Lake Mary, FL) in Oct 2025
Interview
Had an online coding assessment followed by 3 interviews, 30 mins each. First was a profile interview, then case study, and finally a behavioral. The "hardest" part was the case study but as long as you think things through and understand the problem it is fair game. Try as much as possible to think reasonable and ask questions so you have no chance of misunderstanding the question.
