Phone interview was standard personality question sets to figure out if you're a 'people person'. I interviewed in March for a position in SFO and was hired in October at LAX. Long story but the delay had to do with lazy and broken hiring process being outsourced and probably apathetic station management. But, I was hard up for work and for some reason I was determined to 'make a career' at Delta so I insisted.

Difficult is a relative term in this case. Easier said than done, but just try and use 'common' sense. Remember if you will, at the end of the day your interviewer is just another person trying not to get fired for hiring an irresponsible agent.
