Networked with a lot of people, then received an interview invite. Flown out to New York for in-person first round, then if you get the final round, they'll change your flight plans and get you another hotel room for the night. First round and final round are both the same - 2 back to back 30 min interviews with 2 senior people each. They would ask more behaviorals and some markets based questions. My interviewers didn't really give me an opportunity to dive into the technicals at all - not a single one of them asked a technical, which was upsetting because my peers who got offers got asked a few technicals to demonstrate their ability and knowledge. When I asked for feedback, they said although I communicated my resume very well, there were others that did as well, and then I got ghosted. I do remember them asking if I preferred equities or fixed income, and I said equities. About a month or so after my interview with them, their entire equities division got chopped, so that may have played a part.

Questions about current state of the market, sales pitch, behaviourals, and passion about market. Brain teasers and some math and statistics related questions were also part of the process. Had phone interviews and in person assessment
