Interview
I found the posting for Dev initially through LinkedIn. After researching the company, I was impressed with the supportive and diversity inclusive company culture statement on their website and applied directly to them. A recruiter, Arianna, reached out to me, went over the role and answered any initial questions I had. Since this is a remote role and I do not live in VA (HQ), I was curious on how widespread the company was. I like being involved and it was great knowing that Dev has remote employees throughout the country and strive to include everyone in company initiatives and activities.
I moved onto the next step, which was the interview. I met with a panel of developers and the project manager. After a series of tech and coding questions directly related to the role, I was given the opportunity to ask team oriented questions and everyone was very responsive. I received the offer a few days later. Overall, this was the best interview process I have experienced. Each person I interacted with was responsive, honest and approachable.

Question 1
Tech related questions specific to the role requirements.
First I had a phone call screening interview with the recruiter Arianna, she asked me a couple of questions about my goals for the future, some of my background, and more project specific questions.
Next I had a technical interview about my experience with the tech stack we would be using for the project I was signing up for, they kept the questions focused on confirming that I could actually do the job I was being hired for which was incredibly refreshing compared to other interviews.
I got a personal call from the original recruiter, Arianna, later that evening because she was excited to share the offer with me. I was so shocked and appreciative from the call that I was practically in tears!
