Diffblue interview questions

Structured and well thought out interview process, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the team and learning about the huge market opportunity here. I think what helped was the ability to speak to many individuals throughout the process.

Bizarre second interview where I was informed on the morning of (!) that it would be a 'live workshop' using Figma, which I considered to be a terrible idea, as how would that work in a 45 minute interview? This never came to pass, which completely threw me off and it was a series of confusing questions about marketing rather than design (which was the actual job). and being talked at in dense technical detail about the product - which should not matter at interview stage and was a really daft ask. I was also told it would be three people and it ended up being about five - six, which was really overwhelming and strange. Vague response about a decision the week after next and then completely ghosted! For a six month, part time contract job. Absolutely unacceptable communication and red flags galore. Startup culture at its worst.
