The interview process began with a Teams interview with the recruiting manager, followed by a panel interview with the hiring manager and an HR generalist. Both interviews were well-structured and professional, and the questions focused on my skills and experience.
However, two weeks after the panel interview, I was informed that the role had been canceled due to budget constraints. This was disappointing, but what made it worse was discovering months later that someone had been hired for the position. It felt like my time and effort were wasted, and the lack of transparency throughout the process was frustrating.
If a role isn’t properly funded, it shouldn’t be posted in the first place. This experience left a poor impression and raised concerns about the company’s planning and communication.
