Question 1
Asked a series of behavioral questions, and then some technical questions related to Java programming. Difference between compiling language and language before compiling, writing a sort loop in Java etc. Not too hard, but could've been easier. Overall it was nice
I applied online. I interviewed at Discover (Houston, TX) in Jan 2025
Interview
hackerrank for 75 min, 15 min recruiter screen, 45 technical (going through your hackerrank; make sure to explain your coding thought process) and behavioral interview. Asking questions like what drew you to discover and where’d you hear about the opportunity.
I had 2 rounds of interviews (I believe that 3 is the new standard). For both interviews, it was really easy to speak with the recruiter and share my experience.
