Interview was two rounds. HR round was a phone call and the main interview with the Manager was virtual and it was just like a casual work related conversation with a person you just met.

I had a disappointing experience during the early interview process. After several calendar/time mix-ups with the recruiter (interview scheduled on EST for an Alberta role) ,we did manage to connect.
The introductory call itself was fine and we discussed the role in detail. At the end of the call I was told to watch for a calendar invite for an in-person interview with the department director.
That invite never came.
After a week I followed up by email and never received a response. Having worked in the real estate industry for over 20 years, I found the lack of follow-up surprising and unprofessional. Ghosting candidates after an interview is simply not acceptable.
I was having a positive interview process and thought the people there were friendly, until I find out I got to the last round to be told I was “too senior” for the role (aka a senior role…like what?). The HR lady is awful and called me twice on accident to reject my candidacy, the first time during the holidays and I have already accepted it. The second time after. I think I dodged a bullet with this company,
