The interview process was long and drawn out. I commuted over an hour to Tempe, twice, for 3 hour interviews. Once I was there, it was back to back meetings with each of tge team members.

Interview
It was an initial phone screening. She called me 15 minutes late. She asked general questions about my resume, why I wanted to leave my company, why go to DriveTime and why be a data scientist. She didn't try to promote the job to me and greatly lacked any technical knowledge so some of her questions didn't make much sense, and she didn't understand any of my answers, even when I tried to speak in layman, generic terms. She even insulted me at one point about my resume. Basically, it wasn't a friendly interview.
We are disappointed to hear that you didn't have a better experience interviewing with us. It is important to us that our interviews reflect our culture of professionalism and respect. We appreciate your feedback so that we can continue to improve our recruiting process.
