      Positive experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Duke Energy (Plainfield, IN) in Apr 2018

      Interview

The process went pretty quick. I applied online and had a call within a week to schedule an interview. The questions were basic personality and skills based questions, looking for the STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result). I was called the day after my interview and informed that while they liked what I brought to the table, they felt the position I applied for was below my skill set, so they asked me to apply for another position, giving me the position title to look for. I applied and was called a week later and verbally offered the position. Then, it was a waiting game as they had to send everything through the corporate office to get the contract finalized. The pay was excellent, so there was no need to negotiate. All together, it took a total of about 7 weeks from the first phone call to me starting my position.
