      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dynatrace (Waltham, MA)

      Interview

The interviewers where all energetic and professional. Outside of the CFO no one asked any strategic level questions. The process was a face to face with VP of HR, then a 2nd on-site with CFO, VP of Sales , VP of Marketing, and a couple of the recruiters. What was disappointing was the lack of follow-up even a quick courteous response to thank you emails. . Being in TA I build employment brands, we all understand leaders are busy but building a great brand starts with them. The interviewers are all successful leaders but my advice is just find 1 minute to respond to every candidate that sends you a thank you, even build a template saying, thanks for coming in, nice to meet. HR will be in touch. The interview and interviewers were positive but the follow-up needs improving.

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Dynatrace (Vienna) in Oct 2023

      Interview

"I was approached directly by the Talent Acquisition department at Dynatrace. They wanted someone in Austria and asked if I would relocate. I said no to relocation but was happy to travel regularly. This was given the green light by Dynatrace leadership before any further conversations took place, and I was told it wouldn't be an issue. The process from here was as follows: - Introductory call with Talent Acquisition (Hiring Manager) - Interview with a Director (Peer) - Panel interview with 3 software leaders (Stakeholders) - Interview with the CPO (Leadership) - Debrief. Overall, the interview process through each stage was good, and I felt everyone was respectful of my time and gave honest answers to my questions. Now this is where things got strange. In my final debrief conversation, they mentioned a leadership meeting taking place in Austria that was being attended by some of the decision makers, I was told they would like to wrap up the process, even saying "you are the preferred candidate". They requested my salary expectations and two references, which I provided, and explained they would be in touch in a week. It went quiet for a few weeks. I then received an email saying that put things on hold for a couple of weeks over the Christmas period as the company closes during this time. We'll catch up in January! I got back in touch in January and received no reply. I got back in touch in February and received no reply. I reached out via other methods and received no reply. Additionally, I saw that throughout this time, they had reposted the job posting several times in various places. I was completely ignored. How unprofessional? I can understand if the team opted to take a different approach; that's totally OK, but it is utterly unethical to be disregarded and given no feedback or reply at all when the last time you spoke, the indication was they were about to draft an offer."

      Director of Talent Acquisition Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Dynatrace (Waltham, MA) in Jun 2018

      Interview

Applied online and had a great phone interview with the lead recruiter. From there we arranged for an onsite interview with the VP of HR. I could tell from the moment that I arrived that this probably wasn't the place for me. The receptionist was not engaging at all and the recruiter didn't acknowledge the receptionist (maybe because the facilities engineer was hanging out at the desk). From there I met the head of HR. Let's just say that she was more interested in what was happening outside in the hallway than on the conversation with me. She would ask a question and as I was answering it I could tell that she wasn't listening at all. At one point I actually stopped mid sentence to see if she noticed - she didn't. As a Talent Acquisition professional I pay close attention to all of the small nuances and I can tell you that the people here are not engaged. If you go in for an interview - just pay attention to the small details....how engaged do the people seem. As expected I never followed up after the interview and neither did they.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I honestly can't remember a single question the head of HR asked.
